The following applies to C++ for Microsoft Visual Studio* 2008.
The Static Analysis Prepare Projects dialog box may appear the first time you build a solution or project(s) for static analysis by choosing Build> Build Solution for Intel Static Analysis. The dialog box appears to allow you to prepare projects configured to use the Visual C++* compiler or both the Intel® C++ Compiler and Microsoft* Visual C++* compilers for static analysis. Projects configured to use only the Intel® C++ compiler do not require any preparation for static analysis.
To perform a build for static analysis, use the Prepare Projects dialog box to create a new configuration that prepares your project or solution to use the Intel® C++ compiler. This required preparation does not affect your existing configurations.
The Prepare Projects page lists projects that will be prepared for static analysis. Deselect any project you do not want to perform a static analysis. After selecting the projects, click Next. This action displays the Static Analysis Create Configuration dialog box.
